Tal van Internationaliseringsprojecten zijn alweer aan het werven voor de projecten die dit schooljaar op til staan (een compleet overzicht is te vinden op de pagina activiteiten / Internationaliseren.) maar voor het EEP heeft de selectie al voor de zomer plaatsgevonden omdat we over twee weken afreizen naar Voghera waar we in Milaan de EXPO zullen bezoeken.

Sustainability & food
not just a trendy topic which happens to be the focus of this year’s EXPO in Milan, but also part of our study into sustainability involving EEP students, both Dutch and Italian, ever since 1996! Our first meeting this year started with a tasty workshop in Oud Ade by the professional cook Jeroen van Wijk from “What’s Cookin’?”. Local & seasonal produce was central in the Mediterranean type meal which our students prepared. The weather didn’t spoil the enthusiasm with which the students worked in the three kitchens overlooking the surrounding rural area. We can’t wait to visit Italy in a fortnight and continue our search into sustainable food matters. Our visit to the EXPO where the students will have the role of investigative journalists, as well as our other activities can be followed on our blog.
